Mission: Virginia garcia memorial health center is a full service outpatient medical clinic. It provides medical services to migrant workers and other disadvantaged groups in the washington county and yamhill county areas in oregon. (see schedule o for continuation)these services are targeted to those who may not have access to competent medical and social-medical assistance. The center attempts to assess the nature and extent of social-medical problems, the degree and direction of common needs, and the best methods of meeting these needs.
Programs: Virginia garcia center is a primary care outpatient medical center located in cornelius, with satellite offices in newberg, mcminnville, beaverton, and hillsboro. A unique feature of these centers is that patients are billed according to an "ability to pay" basis. Fees are computed using a sliding scale based on each patient's income. In the course of business, the center often extends credit to its patients on an unsecured basis.
