Causes: Military & Veterans Organizations, Veterans
Mission: To promote charitable giving in support of Veterans and actively serving members of the U.S. Armed Forces. To provide assistance in any way possible to fellow Veterans who may find themselves down on their luck and in need. To educate others how to assist Veterans who need help, but are unsure how ask for help. Provide an opportunity to give back to North Dakota communities as well as provide assistance to Veterans suffering from PTSD or other combat related injuries via charities, benefits, and donations.
Results: Over the past few years we have raised over $50,000.00 for local Veterans. This money has been used as an additional resource for our area Veterans providing or reducing the cost to buy food, clothes and housing for Veterans in need; house families of Veterans that are hospitalized at the Fargo VA hospital and Transportation. Additionally, as a result of your donations, the Fargo Vet Center was able to install an internet access system and computer so that Veterans may access websites for job applications, continuing education and Veteran’s Benefit applications. Minot State University’s Veterans Center was able to purchase a new TV to hang on the wall in Dakota Hall. We are hosting our 2nd Mental Health Conference. Educating mental health professionals on the different characteristics associated with the treatment of military personnel and civilians.
