After my wife and I suddenly lost our jobs in February 2023, VINP came in quickly to help ensure our lights stayed on and we had food in the fridge. They then banded together and gave us great resources to ensure other bills were covered in the interim of us finding new employment. We got back on track! YAY! Fast forward to current... out of jobs yet again, nobody wanting to hire us due to "over qualification" regardless of where we tried. At risk of not having gas to simply get our kids to and from school and our power yet again in jeopardy... they quickly stepped in and provided more than we asked for. It gave us breathing room to regain control of our lives and focus our energy on what mattered, employment and providing for our kids instead of stressing about how we were going to keep things afloat for even a day longer. I am forever grateful for the folks behind this Veterans Non-Profit. They love what they do and you can tell in any interaction with them. They don't expect anything and give what they can to help any Veteran in need and support them in regaining their foothold in life to trek on. Even us "tough as nails" Veterans falls on hard times. They men and women at VINP don't judge and continue to serve the Veterans in their reach the best they can every single day! I'm not exaggerating when I say, my family would be homeless today without them. They cared about us, made sure we were ok and continue to check in to make sure we have what we need and we're on the right path! These folks deserve the kudos, grants, and funding to keep helping Veterans. They do what they say they will and with a quickness! Thank you VINP for all you've done for not only my family but every individual and family you've helped. We are not forgotten or thrown to the side and y'all make sure we know we are valued, skilled and able even in our bad times.
