Mission: To preserve and aid in the preservation of undeveloped land along rivers, lakes, and wetlands of vermont; protect public access, wildlife habitat, scenic natural beauty, and ecological integrity.
Programs: Management of conservation projects. The negotiation for rights, options, and the purchase of lands adjacent to rivers and streams so that other non-profit organizations or governments can control their use and preserve the wildlife habitat, natural communities, and biodiversity along the rivers and stream. The goal is to protect the lands along these waters of vermont for recreation, education, and aesthetic enjoyment.
