Mission: Promote a competitive market place for utility companies.
Programs: More than 2,700 member households of the association receive quarterly newsletters that provide background information about important utility issues. Each newsletter encourages members to forward any ideas, suggestions, or questions about utility public policy issues to the association office. Further, each of the more than 3,600 individual usnd members are invited to public meetings two times a year to engage in discussions with utility executives, regulators, and/or politicians about local and national utility issues. Meetings are conducted in eight different locations around the state so members can easily attend one of the meetings.
