Mission: We help advance and promote the educational, scientific, professional, and academic welfare of individuals who are interested in the field of User Experience Design, Research, Information, Architecture, and Content, through a variety of educational events, forums, workshops, panels, lectures, and social events for the public at large.
I believe UXPA Seattle is one of the greatest organizations of its kind here in the Seattle area. As a grad student at University of Washington's Human Centered Design and Engineering I attended a number of UXPA organized events and was impressed by their warm and welcoming atmosphere and the quality of knowledge shared. Since then I have attended and helped organize many more. UXPA Seattle has helped me make great new friends in the user experience field and has opened many new doors. Thank you UXPA Seattle!

When I was starting out in the UX research field - I attended a usability studio tour at Microsoft Games that UXPA Seattle put together. It was exciting to meet lots of other students who were also getting introduced to the ux leaders in Seattle and the Eastside. It's been 7 years now, and those same students who attended are now ux/cx/dx leaders within their companies. Thanks for introducing me to so many nice folks who are pursuing a career to improve technology for everyone.
