My Dad was in the USAF Capt. Ret. 100% Disabled. He was one of the Wounded Warriors. I have a need to help where we can. With my husband we host events and we donate funds to many charities. We went to one of the games for the Wounded Warriors Amputee Softball Team. I was so excited to go watch these men who served our country have some fun. Not only was I brought to tears, I was physically shaken and in AWE over all these players. I watch as each one played the game with no care in the world. When I walked around and introduced myself to the team and talked to each player I was humbled by their presence. I told everyone thank you for your service to me and our country. The overwhelming response was no problem. WOW what an amazing group of men. I received hugs from many and was treated as if I was known by the team for years. I cannot say enough about this incredible origination. My hats off to you all and thank you David for inviting me to come watch. I will be at the games that I can. MANY- MANY THANKS. Have a great year!!
