Causes: Children & Youth, Crime & Law, Youth Violence Prevention
Mission: To inspire the children and youth of honduras to reach their potential by equipping them with the skills necessary for life management, academic achievement, spiritual growth and leadership rooted in the christian faith.
Programs: General programs - the overarching arm that oversees all specific and unique program activities within our work in copan ruinas. Activities that are related to all children and youth programs would fall under this category including summer camp, urban trekkers, urbanpromise latin america, and bilingual summer camp.
youth program- support provided for vulnerable teens of copan ruinas through mentoring, leadership coaching, and tutoring.
urbantrekkers program - an experiential learning program that offers teenagers the opportunity to engage with their community, environment and nature. Teens participate in community service of various kinds, visit national parks, go camping, hiking and participate in adventure sports. All activities are designed to build character, instill christian values and develop servant leadership.
