Mission: The organization strives to break the cycle of poverty that restricts the economic well being of inner city families by providing life long learning opportunities.
Programs: We train single mothers to obtain a ged while caring for their infants and toddlers in a high quality child development and literacy rich environment. We teach parenting skills and do activities with parent and child. We provide transportation and meals to our clients.
we have 500 students in an after school program and 1,200 students in an all day summer program. Our inner city children are taught to love reading. We have laser beam focus on reading improvement. We have state of the art computer based curriculum. We constantly assess our students. Many students increase their reading grade level a year or more during the summer.
