University group medical associates, p. C. Also strives to achieve excellence in medical education working in partnership with its academic affiliate. University group medical associates, p. C. Will be the provider of choice for the people of southern brooklyn, operating a network of community and hospital-based programs in attractive and comfortable settings. With a major focus on primary care, coney island hospital will provide efficient high quality services in internal medicine, * behavioral health, adolescent medicine, and cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation. University group medical associates, p. C. Will also retain and develop viable specialty centers of excellence in response to the needs of our community.
Programs: As part of our on going efforts to enhance our community we have an agreement with generations neurosurgery p. C. An independent contractor also known as gnpc. The skilled neurosurgery team consists of six board certified neurosurgeons' and six physician assistants hired to perform quality neurosurgical services at our facility. Onsite coverage by board certified neurosurgeon at our facility 5 days per week; 24/7 onsite coverage by 6 fte physician assistants; clinic sessions; on-call coverage supervision of the hospital's neurosurgery surgical outpatient and inpatient services.
