Mission: Good Jobs! was founded in 1998 by over 30 community groups in cities across Connecticut. Its initial mission is to increase access for low-income urban residents to good jobs in the construction trades. The impetus behind the formation of the group is the realization by individual member groups that they were not able to open closed doors by working alone, and that they needed both unity and sufficient research in order to exercise the required leverage.
