Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals
Mission: Underdog Outreach Project has a mission to prevent the overpopulation of unwanted dogs in the Carolina's. Specifically, rural areas in counties without a dedicated shelter program. Our goal is to help keep animals out of kill shelters while improving the quality of life for pets in homes and pet owners in need. We work to alleviate the burden of our overcrowded shelters to reduce euthanasia and educate dog owners to help change the future for animals in need. Services include free dog food, spay/neuter vouchers, vetting assistance, stray dog trapping, unchaining and kennel builds, education, community outreach and youth programs that inspire compassion and accountability for animals from a young age.
