Umuco Love is all love. Dydine and Alex are gifted storytellers and conductors of positive energy. They have worked so hard to create a blossoming nonprofit. I am proud to be a recurring donor to Umuco Love's mission. The impact of their work is expanding by the day. #iamyou
Umuco Love is pure joy. Dydine and Alex create a space for productive and inclusive conversation based in genuine kindness and humility. The work they do is so important. In a world where the media gives a stage to some dangerous and hateful voices, their work is the antidote. It’s how we combat the ugliness in the world. They provide some much needed light, connection and love. A beacon of hope!
Alex and Dydine are a perfect dual ! They fuse together their two different cultural backgrounds to give a rich and multi angled perspectives to healing and unity among people despite their differences. Dydine and I come from the same country, Rwanda. Given Rwanda’s harsh history of the 1994 Genocide against Tutsis unity and healing are very sensitive subjects we us Rwandans had to experience vividly. Dydine’s rich perspective and knowledge come from a success story of Rwanda to heal and unify its people right after one of the most atrocious genocide in history. Alex also brings another twist to the pair which is a point of view on healing and unifying in American where its society is based on race and people differences rather than embracing those differences as a melting pot. Keep it up UmucoLove!
Alex and Dydine are beyond delightful to watch and listen in their heart full podcast. The way they share stories is inspirational.
Thankful for this wonderful podcast

This organization reaches the heart of the people. I am super happy to be part of it and can't wait to see their amazing work reaching the hearts and minds of people around the world.
Umuco is incredible! Alex and Dydine share their passion and empathy for people and are going to add a lot of value to these conversations! Much needed voice in our world today !
I am honored to have just joined such an amazing group of people create something that I would say is much needed today. Positivity, love and unity are generated in such a calming and amazing environment. Dydine is such an inspiration and her and Alex do an amazing job establishing and promoting this paradox that we are the same in that we all have a unique background and history. I can't for the amazing things Umuco Love will do in the future. #IAMYOU
Dydine is an inspiration to us all! I first read her book, Embracing Survival, five years ago and have followed her journey since then. I am honored to work with her and Alex in order to help them to create their nonprofit, Umuco Love. Alex and Dydine are motivated to form bridges of connection between people of different background in order to overcome hate, and it is an honor to be able to collaborate with them in order to push forward this vision of healing, connectedness, and belonging. #IAmYou
This is an organization that understands a very large part of the world is made up of stories. The stories are what connect us, bring us together . . . umucolove.org is an interactive platform that allows users to learn about different cultures around the world through storytelling. Ultimately, it aims to create a global community that can communicate across borders and work towards a more peaceful future for all of Earth's inhabitants. I'm mid-sixty now and really appreciate the efforts of these young people to enhance our understanding of one another.
What an intellectually stimulating and caring nonprofit. Even in the midst of Covid, Umuco is still giving back. They make great effort to tear down cultural, religious, racial, and economical walls.
Their Podcast, website, and community activities help citizens of our world to better understand, respect, and in some instances even accept basic human differences. Interviews with people such as ex-skin heads, those whose world travels brought them better cultural awareness, and others whose life works bring about positive change are just a few examples of people I have personally learned a lot.
Alex and Dydine are not afraid to ask their guests hard questions for needed answers. And their personal side stories add a realness to the program. Dydine, a Rwandan genocide survivor whose childhood story can be found in her self published book ‘Embracing Survival’ and Alex, who moved 2000 miles with nothing more than a car and $200 in his pocket to seek how best to give back to society make them quite humble people. And their chemistry. Wow! They certainly know how to play off of each other. Together they help their guests feel more comfortable and more willing to open up. Plus, they give their audience insightful tools that can assist them to make positive change in their own communities.
At such a young age Alex and Dydine have already made a wonderful difference in our world. One would think that they have been at this for a quite a while. I look forward to experiencing what more they have in store.
One thing i like about UMUCO LOVE is that they bring people of all demographics and cultures to the podcast and they share their stories in a very genuine way, which gives us a great picture of inside lives of artists, activists , leaders and the common people...
Keep it up guys!
