Mission: To help people with disabilities meet their full potential as individuals and productive citizens in our community by providing a wide range of services, a supportive environment and by educating and involving the community in an effort to integrate people with disabilities into community life. Provides assessment, employment, vocational and social development, follow-up support to improve social and economical independence of people with disabilities.
Programs: Mayacama industries is an employment and vocational training program serving people with any type of disability. Mayacama industries provides work training and employment for people to improve work skills, habits and earnings in community based employment. Mayacama employment service assists individuals to achieve economic self-sufficiency and vocational independence through its job placement program and support services.
the rural adult program (rap) is comprised of three distinct services for people with developmental disabilities. Rap provides training and support in self-care, communication, community awareness, recreation/leisure activities, and vocational development to help people maximize their independence.
learning independence from experience (l. I. F. E. ) services is a community based service. The purpose of the l. I. F. E. Services is to connect individuals served with their community in order for them to earn income, explore personal interests at college and elsewhere, do their banking, laundry, dine out, keep fit and use public transportation.
