the rural adult program (rap) is comprised of three distinct services for people with developmental disabilities. Rap provides training and support in self-care, communication, community awareness, recreation/leisure activities, and vocational development to help people maximize their independence.
learning independence from experience (l. I. F. E. ) services is a community based service. The purpose of the l. I. F. E. Services is to connect individuals served with their community in order for them to earn income, explore personal interests at college and elsewhere, do their banking, laundry, dine out, keep fit and use public transportation.
