Mission: To assist economically and socially disadvantaged persons in allamakee, clayton, howard, and winneshiek counties in iowa. Uerpc housing, inc. 's purpose to propose, develop, and operate programs and housing projects to the end of serving those economically and socially disadvantaged persons. Funds will be distributed through loans, forgivable and non-forgivable, or grants.
Programs: Uerpc housing, inc. Performs the administrative duties of the northeast iowa regional housing trust fund. The trust fund provides financial assistance to the eligible projects in allamakee, clayton, howard, and winneshiek counties. These projects include those that improve the condition of existing housing structures through rehabilitation and/or repair, first-time homebuyer down payment assistance, or contributions to the development of affordable housing. Funds will be distributed through loans, forgivable and non-forgivable, or grants.
uerpc housing, inc. Performs administrative duties for the federal home loan bank grant. The grant provides a subsidy for households with income less than 50% of hud's current income guidelines for those homeowners in the waukon area. Assistance is in the form of a five year receding forgivable lien. At least 20% of proceeds must be used for income eligible households with special needs.
uerpc housing, inc. Owns and manages various rental real estate properties providing housing to economically and socially disadvantaged persons.
