Causes: Education, Parent & Teacher Groups
Mission: Assist tyee middle school and surrounding community provide the students with programs to learn valuable skills, nurture existing skills and abilities and work on new skills through new opportunities that will help them learn their potential and help them achieve their dreams in a safe and secure environment.
Programs: Through donation grants to tyee middle school is a big part of our contribution to help the entire student body (924) or teachers and staff (60). 1. Support teachers through training (professional rounds), 2. Classroom needs, 3. Educational-based programs 4. Support grade-level curriculum-based field trips, 5. Technology, this year the ptsa helped the school procure additional document cameras.
develop, supervise and or run programs that are open to everyone at tyee that add additional opportunities for students to experience and develop new opportunities and utilize current skills, generating school spirit and more abilities to increase their social skills include spring play (around 150 students involved with production), around 140 kids in 2 math clubs, competitive and applied; spiritwear, national pta reflections program, socials (450 or more) and staff appreciation (60).
