Programs: The turning point, inc. , lincoln county self-help center ("the turning point") operates in lincoln county, wyoming as a nonprofit corporation that provides emergency shelter, crisis and referral services for victims of family violence and sexual assault. During fye 6/30/15, the turning point provided 77 shelter nights for 14 women and 8 children. They assisted 256 victims of domestic violence or sexual abuse. They received 538 requests for assistance. The center provided 19 transports. The turning point also provides public education concerning family violence and sexual assault through program presentations and materials distributions. During fye 6/30/15, the turning point presented 53 public education programs with 1,815 people attending. Offices exist in afton and kemmerer, wyoming, and the shelter is located in kemmerer, wyoming.
