Causes: Chambers of Commerce & Business Leagues
Mission: To secure professional status and respect for public school employees and to promote quality public education.
Programs: All tucson unified school district (tusd) staff membersthat are represented by tea are provided rights as listedin the consensus and white collar/food service agreementsrespectively. Tea is the bargaining agent for these employees, as wellas the group that advocates for them. Employees who select to be teamembers do so for the additional support and advocacy we provide them,as well as an understanding that tea is negotiating in their bestinterest.
tea provides trainings in multiple areas; from skills thatincrease their abilities to work with students, to how toadvocate for employee rights, to leadership skills. Wealso have socials every few months.
