Programs: In this fiscal year, we continued our partnership with the aixiaoya foundation. Aixiaoya fundation is a registered non-profit organization approved by china social welfare foundation. The foundation's mission is to bring love and warmth to underdeveloped rurual mountain area's girls. Primary focus is to help with these little girls (more details can befound athttp://aixiaoya. Org/about/axyintro/)they have estalished numberous philanthropic projects. Our contracted helper,qian tu, engaged with them and researched the various projects. Below are brief introductions for the various projects organized by aixiaoya foundation. Through qian tu's studies and recommendation, we decided to continue to sponsor the first project for this fiscal year, mainly due to below concerns--relatively more straight forward to track progress, compared with other projects,able to reach out and provide direct benefits to more underprividged young aged girls in rural mountainareas, especially those in poor regions. Continue in help promoting project cornerstone abc learningproject for neighborhood elementary schools (asset buildingchampions). Asset building champions program is project cornerstoneseffective parent engagement program. It is composed of a preschooland elementary school strand, volunteers are trained in thedevelopmental assets model for positive youth development, andprepared to read a specially selected childrens book and lead relatedactivities and discussions in classrooms each month. The programsgoal is to help school communities achieve the following:create a common language and vocabulary about student respect andbehavior expectations among all members of the school community students, parents and caregivers, teachers and staff.
