Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Children & Youth, Youth Development Programs
Mission: Our mission is to promote positive self-esteem, education, confidence and character among at-risk youth. Truly Valued, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Our goal is to create an environment of learning and explorational growth for at-risk youth to cultivate positive relationships and give back to their local community. Truly Valued, Inc. creates a mentor network partnership with local churches, schools and various organizations to support youth development.
Results: 2020/21 - 154 including 22 males 2019 - served 80 girls 2018 - served 70 girls 80% made the honor roll All were academically promoted Only 1 girl reported a pregnancy in 3 years

Direct beneficiaries per year: 1900 youth and families to include outreach and direct programming
Geographic areas served: Sarasota and Manatee Counties
Programs: Focuses on character development to help emerging leaders build their foundation of values and character strengths that last a lifetime. Using an evidenced-based curriculum, It’s All About Being a Teen, of Nurturing Parenting Program®, is designed to enhance the development of nurturing skills in teens. The Nurturing Families Program® is a family-centered approach for families with children of all ages. The sessions include: assessments, evaluations and home practice assignments focusing on the parents strengths.
