Programs: Prevention clinical: prevention services are designed to prevent and reduce child abuse and neglect. In addition, it is designed to reduce occurrences of juvenile deliquency.
afterschool program: this program impacts socialization skills as well as education, emotional, and psychological support for normal healthy development. The afterschool program accommodates 75 children (5-12 years old) daily. It also accommodates 20 children (15-18 years old). The younger group also participates in a six week full day summer camp.
oasas residential substance abuse treatment center: operates the homer perkins center, a 20 bed substance abuse rehabilitation center that promotes a sober lifestyle. Approximately 54 individuals served during the year.
other program services include transitional apartments, family support services, a food pantry, a family neighborhood resources center, the 10,000 words & race 10,000 program, jail transition, nys division of probation & correctional alternatives, setllement house, prevention case management, afterschool program, react program, a boces program, and a program funded by cdphp.
