Mission: Founded in 1997 by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), TREE directs its efforts toward schools in high poverty areas. It seeks to increase students' access to leadership opportunities, and principal's access to professional development programs. TREE also provides research to benefit high poverty schools and is committed to continuous improvement of schools by collaborating with its parent organization (NASSP)for the dissemination of its secondary school reform model(BREAKING RANKS)in high poverty schools.
