I am an ambassador for traveling tutus. They have given me the Opportunity to share my love for to others. It’s a great way to give back.
My daughter is an ambassador for this organization and they make it easy to help donate and feel like you are contributing to share they love of dance to children around the world who can not afford dance.
Wonderful organization that my daughter has donated her dance shoes, costumes and ballet tutus. Know her items have been sent to young ladies world wide to promote the love of dance. Traveling Tutus is an Outstanding group of dedicated people helping spread kindness worldwide!
I loved volunteering here for the last 2 years. Traveling Tutus brings happiness to many children all around the world, giving them the change to dance!
They are a great place to donate time and money to help others across the country and world get to experience dance!
Traveling Tutus is an incredible organization that allows and empowers young and fortunate dancers to reach out to their communities and in turn help other less advantaged dancers all over the world...from impoverished to orphaned children...literally from all parts of the world! I was introduced to Traveling Tutus when my daughter signed up to be an ambassador and for the next 4 years she grew to appreciate how the her singular efforts in advertising and promoting the need for costume donations could bring together her own community to collectively donate and collect dance costumes- allowing them to dance again at a second home with less fortunate children all over the world. Every dancer could benefit from the experiences of Traveling Tutus!
Such an amazing organization that helps provide the gift of dance through ballet costumes, tights, ballet shoes, and tap shoes. They truly care about each child that the items are going to and are so helpful. We love Traveling TuTus!!
Traveling Tutus has been such an incredible support for my dance program, providing costumes and dancewear to my students who come from orphanages and situations of low-income. This dancewear gives the children the opportunity to feel important, beautiful and "the part of a ballerina" in the classroom and on stage, giving them an extra boost of confidence. The costumes always arrive so beautiful and Jenna, the founder, is so kind and has amazing communication skills. I am so grateful that Traveling Tutus has helped our program create magical experiences for all of our children regardless of socio-economic status!
Transfromaction Ballet Inc.
Traveling Tutus contacted us (a flight attendant non-profit) to deliver 50 tutus to an orphanage in Guatemala. I have never seen more JOY on the faces of little girls as I did the day of that beautiful, special delivery. Traveling Tutus is changing lives by helping broken hearted little girls heal with garments of grace fostering self worth and self love as the princesses they truly are...✨

I have not directly been affected by the gifts that Traveling Tutus offers. However, the studio I dance at has worked and partnered with a ballet school in Nigeria who receives their costumes, class uniforms, shoes, etc. from Traveling Tutus. To say they just donated is an understatement. Because of Traveling Tutus, the studio we’ve partnered with as well as so many studios like them have been given dancewear that makes it easier for them to dance comfortably, but more importantly makes them excited to dance and grateful for all that they receive. Dance is an incredibly expensive art. And Traveling Tutus helps dancers from every background be able to dance in outfits they feel good in, no matter the price.
Traveling Tutus is an amazing nonprofit! I run a pay-what-you-can dance program in Boone, NC that seeks to provide dance classes to all kids, no matter their family's financial status. We don't charge costume fees to keep costs low for our families, and Traveling Tutus has helped us every year to provide beautiful costumes to our kids! The best part is that often, these are class sets of costumes, which are hard to get, and are free! Traveling Tutus goes above and beyond - when I first requested costumes, they sent me several options and some new leotards for my dance students, which we still use! This year alone we've received at least 75 costumes from Traveling Tutus, enough for 5 whole classes!!
One of my favorite non profit organizations! A fantastic way for dancers to volunteer. They can collect and share their former costumes so that they can be used once again instead of sitting in a closet somewhere! Very organized, easy and fast communication. Highly recommend!
My experience with Traveling Tutus has been one of the most inspiring and motivating times of my life! Over the past few months, I have worked towards motivating my fellow dancers to fundraise for this nonprofit organization. As a studio, we have raised over $400 in events such as a bake sale, a Panera Bread Fundraiser and a coin drive. Whilst being surrounded by the love and passion that my dance studio has for dance, we are sharing this love with girls across the world who are no as fortunate as we are. Especially in our bake sale, I began to notice so many of my fellow dancers becoming involved and being completely absorbed with this organization as I have always been. As the dancers baked their own goods, and helped me sell them, I began to notice what a great impact this organization has on everyone involved. We are also planning a costume drive for all of our used and old costumes for Traveling Tutus! Traveling Tutus brings love and joy to everyone involved, and spreads the passion for dance among volunteers as effectively as it does throughout the lives of the people we donate to.
-Mia Lapinski, Ambassador of Traveling Tutus
I am a high school junior from Connecticut, and I have been dancing at the Southbury School of Performing Arts since I was 3. I have been a Traveling Tutus Ambassador since the end of 9th grade. Dance has been an important part of my life, and I am grateful to work with Traveling Tutus to bring the art of dance to girls and boys around the world. When I was younger, one of the "big" girls at my studio volunteered for this organization. I remember donating costumes and participating in her fundraisers; she always made helping others exciting and fun. When she graduated from high school, I knew I wanted to continue the tradition as our studio's ambassador. Christine Siebold, owner of SSOPA, enthusiastically supports Traveling Tutus' mission. Aside from fundraising, ambassadors collect gently used costumes, shoes, etc. to be donated to kids who otherwise would not have these costly items. The younger girls at my studio learn about the importance of giving, so Traveling Tutus is also teaching valuable lessons to kids who are blessed enough to be able to participate in dance. I encourage people to read about the many wonderful opportunities and memories Traveling Tutus has created. Thank you!
Traveling Tutus is a fantastic organization and I’ve gotten so much out of volunteering for them. Their goal is to spread the gift of dance to children all over the world and their efforts have made an incredible impact. I love fundraising for them knowing my work is going to help so many children achieve their dance dreams.
This organization is a great opportunity for young teens. They make it really easy to get involved with monthly fundraisers. There mission will definitely help those who need and spread joy to kids across the world.
Traveling tutus is such a great organization that gives everyone the opportunity to enjoy the love of dance that sometimes we take for granted. They give great ideas on how to share what you don’t need and change peoples lives in the process. Seeing the smile on peoples faces that receive costumes is priceless. It is such a great organization to be a part of!
Traveling Tutus is an amazing organization that I feel so privileged to be a part of! They offer so many creative opportunities to fundraise and donate and always go out of their way to express their gratitude when you do!
I have been an ambassador for Traveling Tutus for about three years now and it has been absolutely amazing!! The nonprofit organization gives me the opportunity to donate so many old costumes and dance clothes and put them to a better use. Not only this, but it also opened my eyes to those who may not be as fortunate as myself. Because of this I have learned the meaning of kindness and giving back. Traveling Tutus has been such an impactful part of my life and I am so thankful that I have gotten the oppurtunity to work with the nonprofit. Traveling Tutus is the best!!!
I absolutely love being an Ambassador for Traveling Tutus! They are an amazong organization that spreads the joy of dance all over the world! The work they do is incredible. I love seeing all the children's happy smiling faces after they have recieved the gift of dance from Traveling Tutus.
Traveling Tutus i love you!!!! i love being able to help children around the world express themselves through dance. the work done through traveling tutus is so amazing.
I love working with this great nonprofit organization. All of the money and costumes that you give to this charity goes directly to kids who need costumes.
I volunteer for Traveling Tutus!! I love it so much! Traveling Tutus is great and helps so many children all around the world!
Working as an ambassador for Traveling TuTus has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life as a dancer.
My name is Kyle Tanguay and I am currently a Junior Dance Major at The University of The Arts in Philadelphia, PA! When I'm not in classes at UArts, you can find me working with companies such as The Vanessa Long Dance Company, as well as Boston Community Dance Project.
Growing up in Rochester, NH I started my training at a local studio by the name of Fusion Dance Academy. Coming from a working class family, with two parents working 40+ hours a week, and a younger sister, it was very hard for my family to afford dance training. It was through the kindness of another's heart that I was given a scholarship so that I may pursue this craft that I love so dearly and to this day now teach at Fusion which has quickly become my second home. Since those fundamental years I have gone on to work with artists such as Kaneeza Schaal, Sidra Bell, Jessie Zaritt, and many many more incredible artists from all over the world.
It was through the kindness of another that I was given my chance to dance, and grow every single day I walked into the studio and for that I am eternally grateful. With all of this being stated, I have made it my mission to give any person the chance to dance. Working with charities such as The Dizzy Feet Foundation, Neighborhood Engagement at UArts (NEUARTS), and now Traveling Tutus, I believe together we can do what we can to give every child the chance to dance.
This organization holds at its heart all the virtues, and Morales, that are necessary to create a world where dance is appreciated and accessible to all. After over a decade in the field of dance, I am so happy to have a found a group of strong independent people, eager for change. Five stars, hands down!
This nonprofit organization is amazing! I love their mission which is "bringing the gift of dance to children around the world". I like it so much because being a dancer myself, I can see how much it helps you grow as a person, get good physical exercise and it makes you happy. I don't know about you, but most of my old dance costumes that I have only worn once or twice are stuffed in the back of my closet. This organization will take those costumes and give it to kids around the world who can really use them. Best of all, it makes them super happy!
Hi! My name is Zoe McClure, I am Miss Fort Lauderdale's Outstanding Teen 2019, and I have been with Traveling Tutus for almost a year now. I have to say that it is an amazing organization, and I think that more people deserve to know about it! I'm proud to say that I am a part of this organization.
Such an amazing organization. They are so dedicated to their mission of giving the gift of dance to all people and it is so rewarding to watch and be a part of.
Traveling Tutus is such an incredible organization! It provides super easy ways to contribute and help others all over the world, whether is is becoming an ambassador and hosting various fundraisers or just donating old costumes and dance-wear. Traveling Tutus is the perfect organization to allow dancers to help other dancers in many fun and easy ways.
I discovered Traveling Tutus on Instagram and they caught my attention. I had never seen an organization who collects things in order to share the gift of dance. Traveling Tutus is a great organization who is sharing joy through dance all over the world!
I love working with Traveling Tutus LLC to spread the joy of dance to those in need. I have been able to secure dance costume donations by reaching out to the community. It's rewarding to see the joyful children who receive our donations.
I got involved with Traveling Tutus about 2 years ago, after I heard about it from a friend. Since then, I've hosted bake sales, taught classes, raised money and collected a ton of costumes for this amazing organization. The monthly fundraisers are very fun and easy to complete, and make me feel like i have a real connection with the Traveling Tutus mission. Anyone who's interested in dance and loves to help dancers who are less fortunate, this is the perfect organization for you!
We are called Virtue worship dancers in nigerial since we came in contact with the travelling tutus just 2years our lives and dance ministry has never been the same. We look more elegant due to all the varieties of costumes and shoes sent to us we just want to say A Very Big thank you. God will continue to strengthen your hands and all those supporting this great Vision. Above all Jesus loves you.
Traveling tutu's has been a great support to dance schools and clubs all round the world , Here in Africa to be specific Nigeria they have supported dance education so much by sending materials and customs to facility the art of dance in Nigeria. They are a major source of inspiration to we dance teachers .
We were so happy to partner and send our costumes to Traveling Tutus. Knowing our costumes, dance clothing and shoes are going to children in need is amazing and seeing pictures of their smiling faces is priceless. Thank you for making a difference.
I teach ballet in Bluefields, Nicaragua which is on the Atlantic Coast of Nicaragua. I hesitated contacting Traveling Tutus when members of my church in Springfield, IL sent me information. They knew that we have few resources available for the Bluefields Ballet Group. When I finally got the courage to contact them did not hesitate to tell me "absolutely we can help." That request was in March and in August they shipped to our agent in Miami who put the tutus and much more on the container to Bluefields. I cannot express the wonder when the dancers (6-16) entered the room to see the tutu explosion. I thank Traveling Tutus every day for all the ways they help bring beautiful ballet clothes to dancers around the world. Thank you Traveling Tutus for your generosity and your donor's generosity in bringing the magic to so many. In Bluefields, our hearts are overflowing with blessings and gratitude to Traveling Tutus.
I Absolutely love this originization! I think the work they’re doing is amazing and I’m happy to be a volunteer!
I LOVE Traveling Tutus! There are not enough good things I can say about this amazing organization that sends costumes and dance attire to children around the world. I am one of their interns and the communication between Jenna and her team is wonderful- very quick responses and truly want the best for the people they’re making connections with. Additionally, I also teach for a program called Dancing for Donations. A lot of our students have special needs and spend lots of money on therapy, etc., and the program also runs off of donations. Traveling Tutus generously donated costumes for our kids to look beautiful on stage instead of having to wear a leotard and tutu for their performance, as well as donated boxes of shoes for our kids to wear in class! So thankful for the partnership Dancing for Donations has with them!
Traveling Tutus brings so much joy to my dancers and their parents when they see their costumes being passed along to kids to use again! Most of these costumes have only been worn 2-3 times and this organization has truly benefitted both those who donate and those who receive!
I have had the privilege of being an intern for this non profit and have worked a lot with the founder Jenna. To say she is one of the most amazing, loving and kind people I have ever met would be an understatement. She has put her whole heart into this non profit and it truly shows on the faces of kids everywhere when they receive the gift of dance! I am proud to be apart of Traveling Tutus and to share the love that this non profit gives to children around the world.
What an amazing organization! Such a wonderful way for all the old costumes you have, to be put to good use. The smile that it must put on all those young dancers around the world is heart warming.
Wonderful organization doing incredible things for so many children all over the world.
Such an amazing organization that inspires young dancers to serve their communities and share the gift of dance with young dancers all over the world. Collecting beautiful costumes and sending them to dancers that never would’ve gotten to wear them otherwise.
So very impressed with the vision and the professionalism of Traveling Tutus. They are a joy to work with as we’ve sent costumes and dance shoes to them so they can distribute as needed.
My name is Abbie Calvert, and this is my first year as a studio ambassador from LeRoux School of Dance. I’m already aware of how much Traveling Tutus does for the global community! So far, I’ve explored monetary donation collections, a costume/dancewear drive, and I have acted as a mentor for younger students at my studio. I’m honored to be involved with such an amazing organization, and I’m excited to help more! Traveling Tutus is a great cause that brings smiles to faces all around the world by giving the gift of dance!!!
This is my first year with Traveling Tutus and I love it! I've done a fundraiser night and a collection drive so far and it's so much fun. I wanted to donate dance costumes I don't wear anymore, so when I found this I was so excited! I look forward to a great year with Traveling Tutus and many more to come.
I am so truly pleased with Traveling Tutu's. They work they do and the heart and soul they put into it is truly amazing! I am a Traveling Tutu's studio ambassador, and so far I am loving this experience. It is so great to work with such wonderful people and it is all going to an amazing cause. I how you take some time to look at their site and even donate. You can go to www.travelingtutus.org to check out their website. You can also go to fundeasy website and look up Traveling Tutu's to donate. It is such and amazing cause and I hope you have as much interest in Traveling Tutu's as I do.
I run a program called dancing for Donations. We offer classes to all kids but are an all inclusive environment and have several special needs kids. Our program is very cheap and all proceeds go to charity. Traveling tutus sent us 2 huge boxes of shoes! How amazing. We love what they do and want to support them in every way!
My name is Cassie Disharoon, and I am a studio ambassador for Traveling Tutus, and I am absolutely blown away by this charity's impact on the world. You can really tell that they care about their mission and they truly love each and every place to which they make donations. The donated costumes that underprivileged children are receiving give them so much joy. The opportunity to aid them in reaching more children is incredible, and I'm very grateful for it. I'm so glad that I am able to volunteer with them!
I did some research trying to find donated costumes to me to use for my kids at school so I wouldn't have to ask the school or parents to fund my performances by purchasing costumes. Traveling Tutus were a Godsend!!! They sent me a lot of workable costumes and many sets, tap shoes, tights. I recently entered a contest they had where they were giving away new costumes of different sizes but all the same. I won! I send them pics of my kids in the costumes to show them what a blessing they truly are!!! I Love Traveling Tutus!!!!!
I am an ambassador for this nonprofit. I love the idea of giving to the ones that don't have a lot. A great way to do that is to give away dance clothes. When you were younger, dance clothes and costumes brought you so much joy. They do not bring you much joy anymore, so why not give it to someone who will still enjoy them? I love Traveling Tutus
I am so happy that I applied to be an ambassador for traveling tutus, this is an amazing non profit organization to be a part of! they keep you updated and everything
Im so glad that I became an ambassador for traveling tutus because it has given me the opportunity to help people and has made me a better person. Being that dance is my passion, I find this organization so fun and inspiring to be apart of. I also love connecting with other ambassadors and meeting new people/ambassadors at TT events & fundraisers. Such an incredible organization!!!
I love that Traveling Tutus has given me an opportunity to share my passion for dance and help others! We have had a great bonding experience filled with fun at the pointe shoe painting party I hosted as a TT Ambassador and we made money for the organization at our holiday ballet show!

This program not only provides support to children across the world to enable them to learn the love of dance, but it is an excellent leadership building program for young dancers. Their program has built in mentorship opportunities for young dancers to develop as leaders and community activists while promoting something they love and learning basic business and marketing skills! My daughter has enjoyed being a part of this program as a Studio Ambassador
I am proud to be representing The Ashburn Academy of Dance in Ashburn, VA in being the 2016-2017 studio ambassador. Traveling Tutus has greatly impacted my life by giving me an opportunity to help brighten a child's life in showing them the joy of dance. I love being able to come up with new and creative fundraising ideas to help support Traveling Tutus and inform my community about them. I feel very lucky to be able do do what I love, so sharing the gift of dance with children all around the world is a wonderful thing to do. -Sophia Berger
Traveling Tutus is an excellent organization that is making a visible change in the dance world by upcycling costumes that may not otherwise be re-used. As a dance parent for over 12 years, it is heartbreaking for me to see perfectly good costumes sit in a closet somewhere, when they are still in perfect condition. We looked online for years to find ways to re-use them or sell them, and eventually found Traveling Tutus and their ambassador program. My daughter is proud to be the first Canadian Ambassador and my younger daughter will likely follow suit.
Traveling Tutus is making a difference in the lives of many young dancers and also allowing teen dancers a chance to do volunteer work in an arena that they already love.
I am a traveling tutus ambassador this year and have love making a difference in the dancers lives that we help!!
It is my first year working as an Ambassador for Traveling Tutus, and I couldn't be prouder to be affiliated with them! I've been dancing since I was 2, and to be able to share that same love of dance and give opportunities to kids that might not have them is invaluable. I hope to be able to grow awareness to Traveling Tutus and continue to make a difference in the lives of others. My studio, Fusion Dance Academy, in Dover, NH, has recently become a business partner and I'm excited for our future together! Kelsey Jacobsen
Traveling Tutus is absolutely fabulous! You can really tell that they care for dancers and children around the world. They are so welcoming to everyone and want to make a difference. It's been an honor to be a Ambassador with them and I can't wait to see what's next for them!
Hi, I'm Catie Mae Carey, founder of Second.Chance.Dance. I was recently accepted to be a Studio Ambassador for Traveling Tutus, Inc and I'm very excited about this opportunity. I started my organization in the 8th grade, as a dance costume donation community to help other dancers and dance studios have access to gently and barely-used dance costumes. I am currently packaging and organizing beautiful ballet and hip hop costumes to ship to Traveling Tutus Inc. and my dance teammates are going to be helping me all this month. I think this organization is amazing and I can't wait to see what the future holds for me, and my organization to partner with Traveling Tutus Inc.

Traveling Tutus has an amazing mission statement. We have two children's homes in Thailand and in Ghana. Global Servants home, House of Grace Thailand, has over 100 girls. Traveling Tutus always pays for shipping! They give our children so much joy and blessing, asking nothing in return. I am so grateful for an organization like this!!! They are trustworthy, organized and doing everything with a good heart. They always send the right sizes and items requested (absolutely beautiful quality items). I would dare to say that you could not find a FOR-profit business that is run as smoothly as this ministry. So grateful for their generous hearts and their continued strive for excellence!
Jenna and Traveling Tutus went above and beyond for my dancers! We were able to get costumes for 25 dancers. When shipping would take too long, Jenna personally delivered them. I love Traveling Tutus!
I had started doing a ballet camp in an orphanage in Port Au Prince Haiti and had been working with Bloch dancewear buying close outs on leotards and shoes. I made dance skirts from scarves for our performance. It was a great success and I continued on with Project Grace and added yoga to the camp. We made makeshift tutus from tulle, scrambled for supplies every year, and depended on a woman at Bloch to work with us for close outs. After a particularly bad year financially, I could no longer purchase supplies I needed. Ms. Hippelman from Bloch contacted me and told me she gave my name to an organization called Traveling Tutus that supplied ballet shoes, tights, costumes, etc. to organizations and orphanages that were teaching dance. I thought it was too good to be true and was flabbergasted. I figured it was going to still be something I could not afford. When I spoke to Jenna, the founder, and she said it was all free, I could have anything I want, and did I also want tap shoes, I just cried. The kids we teach are in orphanages, or poor communities in Haiti, live communally, or in makeshift houses. The dance experience is one they would never have available to them. We do classes as authentically as we can to a dance school class in the states. When I pulled out bags of costumes the first time and fitted the girls and boys ( and my teachers) it was one of the best days and most fun for all of us. The team that was helping that week were not all dance teachers. I outfitted them and our translators and we all climbed in the back of a pick up truck to headed to the orphanage for performance day. The children started to get undressed after our performance and we're giving back the costumes. When I told them they were a gift from Traveling Tutus, they looked very puzzled. When I got the translator to make them understand, there were smiles and hugs and "merci, merci, merci". it may sound silly in the grand scheme of things, but the simple gift of dance and a beautiful costume is worth a million dollars worth of smiles.
Thank you Traveling Tutus
I love what joy and delight Travelling Tutus donations of fun bright dance wear/costume brings to the heart and face of a survivor of sexual exploitation and trafficking. These young girls aged 6 - 16 years dress up and twirl and feel beautiful. It is an important part of their healing and restoration of childlike behaviour, fun, laughter and innocence.
My daughter has been a dancer for 10 years. I personally know how dance empowers my daughter! She is not only physically fit, she has gained the grace and confidence to perform on stage at competitions. We donated 9 of her former dance costumes to Traveling Tutus. We know how wonderful dance has been for Lianna and we are filled with joy when we see the photos posted by Traveling Tutus of little dancers wearing the donated dance wear. Our favorite photos are those of children in orphanages since Lianna began her life in an orphanage.
