Mission: Traveling Light Ministries is a veteran-owned independent Catholic nonprofit dedicated to offering compassionate, trauma-informed spiritual care to individuals and families navigating grief, loss, and life transitions. Rooted in the healing traditions of Catholic faith, we provide grief recovery programs, Reiki healing, trauma-sensitive yoga, and mindfulness-based support, with a special outreach to veterans, the LGBTQ+ community, and those who have been wounded by loss or exclusion. Our mission is to be a beacon of hope, healing, and spiritual renewal for all who seek light after darkness.
Results: Since its founding, Traveling Light Ministries has established a public online presence, completed professional certification in the Grief Recovery Method, and created structured programs for grief recovery, spiritual care, Reiki healing, and trauma-informed support. We have developed and launched a website, built public profiles on national veteran-owned directories, and secured an ecclesiastical endorsement for religious services. Traveling Light Ministries has engaged with veterans, grieving individuals, and spiritual seekers through educational outreach, class development, and individual healing sessions. We have received positive feedback from early participants who have reported feelings of hope, renewal, and emotional healing. In addition, we have completed registration with GuideStar, created a Google Business Profile, and submitted multiple grant applications to expand services to underserved communities. Our foundational groundwork ensures that we are positioned for immediate program delivery and sustainable community growth.
