Mission: To witness lives transformed and families preserved by providing hope through education, care through nutrition and love through the word of god leading to sustainable growth for haiti.
Programs: Haiti general and student programs: this covers our mentored students program that involves providing mentoring for more than 36 students in grade school, high school. This high-touch student, family and school leadership format has produced outstanding results, surpassing national norms. In addition to mentoring by one of our two haitian directors, students receive basic food provisions, uniforms, tuition, books and school supplies.
impact trips: impact trips have been a great way for our sponsors, donors and supporters to experience haiti first hand. These trips focus on relationship building, particularly with our mentored students, staff and kenscoff school. We have seen hearts changed by those that have gone on these trips.
kenscoff school: about 25% of the general program expenses are included in the kenscoff school. This program provides for 95% of the expenses related to the teachers salary, books, uniforms, sandwich and juice for lunch and school supplies. This school is located in a remote mountain area of haiti where the school had been vacant for several years following the earthquake. Today there are more than 130 students going to school that would not be in school otherwise.
