Mission: To support the activities of the office of economic development and international trade (a unit of the department of regulatory and economic resources (rer)) of the government of miami-dade county in carrying out special projects such as trade/business development missions, workshops, and possible fund raising events. The economic development and international trade unit's mission is to promote miami-dade county as a global gateway and enhance access to economic develomenmt opportunites.
Programs: Trade/business development missions abroad. Organized and led business development missions to brazil and france to promote miami-dade as a global gateway, a trade destination center, and a platform for trade. The missions were comprised of particiapants from both the public and private sectors, and was organized by the economic development and international trade unit of miami-dade county.
