Mission: Touching Lives exists to teach all people everywhere who Jesus is and why they need Him.
Programs: Touching lives is the christian television broadcast ministry hosted by dr. James merritt. This thirty minute television program can be seen in all 50 states and over 120 countries around the world. The current family of broadcast stations include: trinity broadcasting network and the church channel. This year, the television program was rebranded and restructured to give a new look and feel to the program. The average weekly viewing audience exceeds 500,000. In addition, the website has been redesigned for greater user-friendliness and efficiency. Dr. James merritt perseveres in fulfilling the mission of touching lives in seeking those who are lost, ministering to those who are hurting and empowering christians through the word of god. This broadcast ministry is made possible by the gifts and prayers of the thousands of touching lives ministry partners. Their generosity allows the continuance of faithfully telling others of the only solution to life's greatest question - eternal life through jesus christ. Since its inception in 1993, touching lives has ministered to and touched the lives of thousands of individuals across the united states. Through the toll free prayer line, the touching lives prayer partners have been instrumental in leading these very individuals to personal relationships with jesus christ and praying with them through the most troubling of circumstances. This year hundreds of souls were saved and thousands have called the prayer line and over 23,000 people receive the monthly ministry letter.
