Mission: The toms river regional schools hurricane relief fund, inc. Was established to receive charitable donations from various sources. The fund will distribute the general funds on the basis of establishing that the person requesting assistance was effective by super storm sandy and has a connection to the toms river regional school system. The intent is to help as many people as possible and therefore the gifts will generally be limited to a maximum of 2,000. In addition to general donations, the fund will accept limited gifts and/or grants which will be distributed in accordance with the limitations place on the fund by the donor or grantor. Fund raising will include the solicitation of grants. In that regard the fund may use those restricted funds for covering operating expenses that the fund incurs solely because of hurricane sandy. The people's pantry was created by toms river regional schools to distribute all the donations we received at the shelters from our community for storm victims. The management is being handled by septa (special ed pta)storm victims are invited to visit the people's pantry for food, supplies, and clothing.
