Mission: Tomorrow's home foundation provides emergency assistance grants designed to provide critical repairs so that individuals and families can stay in their manufactured or mobile home and creates a method and mode for disposing of old, uninhabitable mobile homes that were blighting the countryside.
Programs: Tomorrow's home foundation was in between funding cycles in 2017, finishing out a state grant from the wisconsin department of safety and professional services early in the year and starting a water heater, furnace and (medically necessary) air conditioner grant from the wisconsin housing and economic development authority in the fall. In between, we used some of our own money to fund nine emergency projects, which were largely for water heaters and roof repair. The number of families helped by tomorrow's home foundation in 2017 include 38 families received critical home repairs, 23 helping hands grants, 7 heating and cooling grants, and 1 home disposal. In addition to the funding provided by the grants, members' donations matched those funds to double their impact.
