Nonprofit Overview
Mission: The Help Center mission is to offer immediate relief to people in crisis. TOM Help Center offers emergency assistance during critical times. We accomplish this mission by offering programs and services and information and referral services with local community partners. Paralleled with this mission is our focus on homeless teenagers and their babies.
Results: Each person that walk through our door is so valuable and important to us. Crisis is sometimes a terrifying environment to navigate. Counting our monthly outreaches to the Community, the homeless outreaches, elderly outreaches and school outreaches, the Help Center has processed over 800 families with our food pantry, secured jobs for over 45 people, assisted 12 students with college entrance and kept many families utilities on. Homeless families that have utilized our day shelter services have exceeded 1000.
Target demographics: Families in crisis. We are a Humanitarian Organization first responders to families and homeless in crisis
Direct beneficiaries per year: 330 Families as well as Homeless Outreach events and community events with Elementary schools and the elderly.
Geographic areas served: Rosenberg, Richmond and surrounding areas
Programs: TOM Help Center is a Day Shelter, offering information and referral services, Food Pantry, Clothes Closet, Social Services, GED and Job search with dress for success programs and services.
