Mission: Together wisconsin inc conducts research, sponsors educational activities and events, and disseminates information to promote the general public's understanding of ways to maintain and improve wi's common good, quality of life, and social welfare. Working with allied organizations, research and engagement activities on issues of pressing public concern include but are not limited to, access to affordable healthcare, affordable housing, economic development, transportation, the right of all citizens to vote, freely in local, state and federal elections, environmental protection, public education, voter and worker rights, racial justice and immigration policy.
Programs: In 2017, together wi inc worked with partner organizations to jointly develop and implement leadership programming and training to provide citizens with the knowledge and skills they need to effectively engage in public debate about issues they care about that are of pressing public concern. Together wi inc is interested in understanding public policy and other issues of pressing public concern. In 2017, focus group and interactive voice response (ivr) polling was done to conduct research and to share findings with partner organizations.
