This is an amazing place! They take such a good care of all the animals. I love their fb postings "Educational Thursday" and "Follow up Friday". So informative about the life at the rescue and the challenges those animals have faced before they were rescued. Worth visiting, worth donating!
I love to visit TMMA Farms and Sanctuary in Trion Georgia. The animals are so well loved and taken care of. I learned so much every time I go. Would like to Thank the caregivers of these great "God's animals" and the education they give to all. This is a great place for donations as goes to the many needs of the animals.
I visited TMMA for the first time last year for a Christmas event. Not long after that I became a volunteer. Just in the short time I have been there I have learned so many things about the animals and farm. Maryann and Marty care and treat every animal on that farm like they are the only one there. They are passionate about what they do and will do whatever it takes to make sure every animal is healthy and safe. Go see them and learn a lot about what it takes to care for these beautiful animals.
Spent an entire day at TMMA , the love, care and responsibility that they have for these sweet babies will warm your heart, and it will enlighten you on the amount of work that is required every single day to care for these babies!
TMMA Farm & Sanctuary is an amazing rescue organization. You can see this place is a labor of love where the animals' well being is a top priority. We have visited many times & appreciate the dedication & heart it takes to run TMMA.
Maryann and Marty are the best of the best in what they do. Every animal they take in gets the utmost in care. The health and welfare of the animals there ALWAYS comes first. When you visit the farm you will be welcomed with a big smile and depart with a hug, because now you are part of the TMMA Family. Although their specialty is alpacas and llamas they will take on other species or help fond the right rescue for it. One visit is all it takes for you to see and learn how compassionate they are and dedicated to caring for those that others can't or won't. Donations make this place possible and I gladly donate throughout the year as well as attending their events.
My sister & I first visited TMMA Farms in 2019 on a scheduled private tour. Mary Ann & the Cowboy are passionate about their mission to provide a loving, clean & calm environment for all of their rescues. This farm is the last stop for the majority of their rescues. Providing comfort, peace, physical & emotional support is the goal at TMMA Farms. Mary Ann shares much of the animals lives on Facebook. We have laughed and cried with her through many journeys. TMMA Farms & Sanctuary uses your donation for the care of the animals.
My family had our first visit to the farm sanctuary this past weekend and had such a wonderful time. The grounds are beautiful, easy to access and the animals are so kind and friendly. We were able to chat with one of the owners and had such lovely conversations about the special needs animals on the farm and many other things. It was such an enjoyable experience. We can’t wait to visit again in the future.
Both Maryann and Marty consistently go the extra mile to care for compromised, aged or just plain needy animals of various species. The time, effort and attention that each animal requires can be exhausting but somehow they manage it, not to mention conducting various ongoing educational events for both kids and adults.
They most definitely "walk the walk" and consistently assist a variety of other rescue organizations when the need arises, sometimes at great expense to themselves.
We have done several animal control cases with tmma, and we always call them in to work with us because they are professional, knowledgeable and know their stuff! They constantly educate the public on far more than just feeding the animals. We've laughed together and cried together and have done some pretty horrific cases together. We absolutely love these folks, get to know them and you will as well.
This farm is amazing. They do what real rescuers should. They care for all kinds of special needs animals and give them a wonderful life that they would not have had otherwise. Maryann is Super Woman she never stops helping these animals. I wish more rescues did half of the stuff she does for her animals.
Great rescue that goes above and beyond for their animals big and small. They work to educate the public and help people have a better understanding of rescue and farming. We love the open houses and getting to visit all the animals we see on their social media. They truly have a heart for what they do!
TMMA Farms and Sanctuary are a blessing to all the animals they have rescued. They are so compassionate and caring and never fail to help educate the public. I've been following them for some time now and have learned a lot about what it takes to be a rescue. I'd say it's a thankless job, but those words would be a lie when you see how the animals they've rescued have thrived. Two of them that come to mind are Itty Bitty a goat with spina bifida and Samson the blind alpaca. I'm not sure they would be alive today if it wasn't for TMMA. Sure there are some sad stories, but it's not for TMMA's lack of trying to help them. As TMMA has said repeatedly "if they want to fight, we'll fight with them". Thank you MaryAnn and Cowboy for all you do!
My Grandchildren and I have enjoyed coming to this farm/rescue/sanctuary for the last 3 years. The compassion that Maryanne & the Cowboy show these animals is heart warming. The world is a better place with them in it. Thank you TMMA. ❤️
I first meet Maryanne at TMMA farms when I was looking to rescue Llamas. The work that is done at this rescue is exceptional. From loading up their trailer and traveling miles whether it be to just rescue one animal or multiple is amazing. The devotion, hours and love poured into their rescues is truly a sight to see. Maryanne and Cowboy the owners of TMMA leave no stone unturned in providing the absolute best possible care to those in need. Please support them the best way that you can as I know they are greatful for even the smallest of things to help care for the animals.
Very knowledgeable about the animals they take care of & rescue. Extremely caring & kind. They keep the public updated on all of the animals & tell all about how they take care of their animals medical problems. They also post about the hard & sad parts about rescuing. We cry along with them. Love this rescue!
