Mission: The tiny miracles foundation, inc. Is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping families with premature infants in fairfield county, connecticut
Programs: Operate a network of local parent mentors who themselves have endured the premature birth of a child to provide support, inspiration and encouragement. This includes establishing parent resource rooms in the local hospitals to comfort parents and provide internet access, educational materials, sibling support and toys, nutritional support and the ability to meet with weekly parent mentors. Services also include a parent hotline, parent matching program, hospital support groups, a support website, bereavement support referrals, spanish language interpreter and a monthly professional speaker series. All programs are offered in spanish and english.
emergency financial assistance program for parents of premature babies who qualify to receive emergency financial help to cover extensive costs of specialized care needs and equipment needs for a fragile and sick child.
in hospital program provides families of premature babies with a welcome bag filled with educational materials, clothes and bonding supplies for a baby in an incubator, as well as a home care bag filled with specialized and hard to find home care supplies for the after care of the baby. Supplies are in both spanish and english.
