This year, Thinking about Tomorrow donated backpacks full of school supplies to my kids. The smiles on their faces were too much for me! They have so much more confidence going to school with their new bags! God bless this organization for making such a difference in our lives- helping my kids with supplies I can not afford
I did not know exactly what the nonprofit does..I was amazed...school supplies..backpacks..treats..outings...baseball games...impressive...great organization..glad to be part of what they do and accomplish for the kids!!!

TAT is an amazing charity run by dedicated individuals who provide materials and support for under privileged youths. By promoting education and school attendance, they are positively impacting the future of these kids.
Love this charity! My mother was a teacher of underprivileged students for 40 years so when I found out that TAT's entire initiative is focused around helping underprivileged students succeed in the classroom I immediately jumped on board as a volunteer. I have helped out with several events over the years and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. The work they have done in the LA community has been life-changing for countless children, families, teachers, and schools. Keep up the great work TAT!!!
TAT is a great organization that genuinely cares about their focused community. I know because I've participated at several of their fundraising efforts, and felt really good about the intention and progress made after each event. It's very reassuring given the abundance of community leaders and non-profit organizations who don't quite match up with what they preach. I hope TAT continues to reach great heights in the future, and helps fix many more broken smiles in the inner city communities!

Whether you are looking to volunteer or donate, this charity is a perfect candidate. Not only are the founders so incredibly gracious they have also been very successful in helping children. They have helped by giving 30,000+ backpacks stuffed with school supplies to students that wouldn't have been able to afford them but are essential for a child to have a successful school year. They teach at-risk youths about the importance of education. They visit the schools and instill incentive programs for perfect attendance...the list goes on...this organization is really making a difference. This is my favorite charity by far.
It's always a pleasure to work with TaT every time they need somebody to volunteer! I love the work they do for their community and the at-risk students enrolled in public schools; getting kids excited about going to school everyday isn't easy and they manage to do it EVERY year!
I began volunteering with Thinking About Tomorrow in 2009. I have worked in nonprofits for 7 years, and have always been impressed with the motivation and conviction of this organization. Thinking About Tomorrow saw a problem in their community, and decided to take an encompassing approach. With their school is cool initiative they engage students and their parents, which I believe is the most successful way to make a difference. I also believe their programs that show children college is a definite, and not a distant possibility are an asset to the Los Angeles community and Title-1 schools. The organization has fresh ideas and the passion to carry them out.
It is always a pleasure to help others, but volunteering to help our future leaders gave me a feeling of worthiness...it made my day!!
