As President and a founder of The Veteran Asset (TVA) I am extremely proud of our mission to support the men and women who served this nation.

For the past seven years, I have been the CEO of Ambassador Energy, which has enjoyed a healthy amount of proactive positive reviews from its customers. However, immediately upon deploying its first military veteran crew this summer, the rave reviews began to multiply, compelling company executives to continue hiring veteran graduates of the TVA program.

We these proud Americans and TVA ...we are making a big impact on the solar workforce and an even bigger impact on the lives of our veterans.

I have seen how TVA’s program has equipped veterans with the skills and job knowledge necessary to compete in today’s job market. TVA is an awesome program and I am proud to associate myself with an organization that gives back to the community.

As a sales consultant one of my favorite things to share with my contacts and customers is about the Veterans Asset Program. I love that this program supports veterans, helps to train them and help them find work that they will enjoy! It is a source or pride for me personally, to say that our company supports the Veteran Asset Program. I also find that my customers have a similar interest.

As a Co-Founder of The Veteran Asset (TVA) it was important to ensure it was founded on the core principle of service. Our service is to those who have worn the uniform of the United States military - our veterans. We also have made the decision that these services will be at no cost to the veteran. We are unique in the industry because we add value along the continuum of our services, based on our vertical integration. We are laser focused on workforce development and have created a continually expanding network of like-minded employers who understand the value in hiring our veterans. We continue to partner with the right industry experts and manufactures, nonprofits and corporate sponsors, in an effort to expand our services nationwide. Yes, TVA is all about service. We believe in this country and stand by those who have proudly served. It has been extremely gratifying to see TVA go from concept to the reality of success. We are making a difference in the lives of veterans we serve and are enhancing the solar industry one veteran at a time.

I am a retired Marine and was in the market looking for a job to do after finishing my Career in the Military. I had sent my resume out to multiple companies and was able to sit in a couple interviews when my wife told me she had herd about the Veteran Asset and had set up an appointment for me to meet with Scott Duncan. I showed up to the interview and right away felt that this was a great fit for me because Scott was a retired Marine as well. I was accepted into the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) training program and within 2 weeks was learning everything Solar. I admit I had no experience in the industry when I started the class but once I finished I knew the solar industry was going to be my new line of work. I was hired by Ambassador as a Sales Consultant upon completing the course and have found this to be a rewarding and new way to continue the reason I joined the Military. I am in the business of helping people and this is how I can continue to do just that.

I am one of the teachers in the solar training program for The Veteran Asset and it has been an amazing program. I have had many veterans come to me after being placed in jobs to express their gratitude for the training and job placement assistance they received. As students, they stand out by being respectful, attentive and focused. These qualities are also being recognized by their new employers who notice the difference their attitudes make on the job. I am proud to be a part of the good work The Veteran Assest is doing.

I just had Ambassador Energy's "The Veteran Asset" trained crew install my solar system and it was nothing short of incredible. I have never had the privilege of being around such a nice group of veterans (installers).

It is wonderful to have a feeling of giving back to our Veterans while at the same time doing something great for the environment and saving money.

I heard that Ambassador Solar hires veterans from TVA, so I just signed up with them for solar on my home. The sales person David was excellent at explaining the difference in quality of work that comes with these vets doing the installation.
So far this has been a great company to deal with. Can't wait to meet the veterans in their red white and blue hardhats!

I've volunteered at this organization for several months. The mission and vision are admirable and close to my heart as an Army Wife. Veterans arrive for training with positive attitudes, ready to learn and eager to work. I've enjoyed meeting each and every Veteran! It is thrilling when a veteran is placed into a solar career and we see them thrive in the work place.
If I could I would give this job my full-time attention! But gotta feed the kids!

I have been in the Solar Industry for almost 10 years and recently had the honor of working and standing alongside this new Veteran workforce that TVA (The Veteran Asset) is deploying. The opportunity has been nothing short of amazing. The pride of serving our country comes is demonstrated just as strongly after these veterans enter the civilian workforce. This who I would trust to do my solar construction project.

The Veteran installers who installed my solar system are graduates of this program. we would like to give special thanks to them for being so conscientious and courteous. They not only did a great technical job, but they made the whole experience feel so good. We actually are helping put veterans back to work while getting a new solar system. ...can't say enough about how great this program is!

We have hired 7 graduates from the TVA program and are already seeing the quality that these veterans bring to Ambassador Energy. They are proving to be our installation department’s 'silver bullet', as they come in with very high skill sets. They also work hard, set great examples for other employees, and, last but not least, customers love them! We are very proud to have them in our AE family and honored to be putting our military veterans to work in our exciting industry.
