Mission: To increase awareness of the consequences of driving while intoxicated, and to assist our community with effective interventions that lessen alcohol related accidents and deaths.
Programs: Public awareness campaign - the goal is to decrease the rate of drunk driving in sacramento county with an integrated strategy of radio, television, out-of-home, online and guerilla marketing. The target audience is males 18-34. Studies have shown that publicity reduces dui arrest rates and alcohol-involved fatalities.
