Mission: The Friends of Chelation Society was founded in 1996 by a group of patients who benefited tremendously from EDTA Chelation Therapy. Their symptoms resolved and their health improved. Despite this, the therapy was often ignored or denounced by mainstream medicine. Most physicians do not inform patients about Chelation therapy as a viable healthcare option. Therefore, the Friends of Chelation Society decided to educate and inform healthcare consumers about this safe, effective treatment. They hope to generate an active membership that will become a viable influence on decision makers in the United States.
