Mission: Orenda was founded in 1986 to protect wildlife and wildlife habitat through land acquisition to create permanently protected open space wildlife sanctuaries for wildlife. No hunting or trapping is ever allowed on Orenda land so that individual wildlife are protected. Since 1986, Orenda has helped to protect nearly 800 acres of land for wildlife habitat.
