Causes: Animals, Bird Sanctuaries
Mission: The mission of the society is to engage in avtivities beneficial to prairie habitats and the greater prairie chicken. These activities may include research, management, education, and the coordination of fundraising activities.
Programs: Conservation partners legacy grant #3-87024 - "grassland restoration" - seeded 140 acres of prairies and grasslands in west central minnesota. The objective was diversification to enable the land sites to benefit more prairie species.
provided public education on prairie grassland and wildlife issues via the production of newsletters, organizational brochures and gathering yearly census data.
