Dear Brethren in Christ I am writing on behalf of Pastors Jose and Rhonda Reyes. I am Pastor Ida Baker, Sr. Pastor of St. Luke AMEC located in the Sunnyside area, far eastern corridor of Houston, Texas. During the spring/summer of 2007, Pastors Jose and Rhonda, along with their children, came to St. Luke to share facilities. However, God so fixed it that we spent many hours-both congregations-worshiping together. We did ministries together. Pastor Jose alternately taught bible study with me and we were blessed for having sat at his feet. He is a thorough proclaimer of the word of God. Not only did he teach, but he was and is a great handler of the word of God. We would worship some weeks at the St. Luke and I had an occasion to visit their worship at their home, and it was awesome. Pastors Jose and Rhonda shared with us their book of instructions for teaching children - the Alphabet Book Bible and we are still using this resource. We co-ministered a Hallelujah Day on Oct .27, 2007. They presented a scripture as well as activities that would be appropriate for children attending this event. Pastor Jose & Rhonda ministered to about 27 children, who gave their lives to Christ. They (Pastors Reyes) are dedicated to the Ministry of the Lord's Field Ministry and will be a godly influence in any worship experience that are invited to conduct. I pray that you will open your worship experience to them, for you will truly be blessed. They are Godly people and their children are godly children. In the Master's Service Rev.
