Mission: To provide a safe haven for women and children who are victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault while promoting a safe, healthy, violence-free community: by treating all people with respect while empowering and supporting women; by creating an educated and aware public; by promoting healthy families; and by striving to eliminate domestic abuse, sexual assault and associated societal oppression.
Programs: LeeShore's emergency shelter (32-bed) facility offers safe shelter (32-bed), crisis intervention, 24-hour crisis hotline, walk-in services, court-based legal advocacy and referrals to victims of domestic vionece and sexual assault. LeeShore also provides in-house and community support groups, community training and education and violence prevention education to youth grades K-12.
