Causes: Education, Primary & Elementary Schools
Mission: To create an educational experience in an environment where students feel safe, supported and engaged in their learning process. We encourage learners to work to their full potential, to exhibit independent thought, self confidence, creativity and imagination.
Programs: The learning academy is an independent school that gives the parents in the community a choice other than public school to education their children. The learning academy serves approximately 70 children from various social, financial, ethnic, and learning backgrounds and capabilities. Class sizes have a 12:1 student teacher ratio.
the learning academy offers summer camp to enrolled students as well as the entire commmunity. Activities include art projects, field trips, exploration in nature, tutoring, science and sports. 100 students between the ages of and 12 years old attended summer camp in 2015.
