A Place to Call Home: The Landing has given our Homeless, Disabled Veterans and others A Place to call home. As it is a permanent supportive housing program and the residents are allowed to stay as long as needed to get back on their feet. The Landing has given a home to so many through out the years. I have seen the relief and gratitude in the eyes of the residents once they know they are safe, secure, warm and fed. With so many programs in existence The Landing all though small is at the top of my list. I have watched them lift and change the life of "One Person at a Time" they normally are assisting over 20 veterans or other at a time. If you like to give to a program that is really assisting on a personal level please consider The Landing as they do so much in the lives of others.
As one of the board members of this excellent non profit I have witness the exceptional strides they have made with our homeless disabled veterans and others. Some of things have been them buying a car, going back to college, getting a job, and getting back on their feet will they have been able to rent their own homes.

This is a great non-profit program for homeless veterans! Through my time volunteering at The Landing, I have seen many people come who just came upon hard times. The Landing gave them a place to call home and helped them get everything in order to help move them forward. It is very rewarding watching and helping people who risked their lives for the freedom of ours.
