Mission: To serve the highest expression of individual health through widespread adoption of functional medicine as the standard of care. Functional medicine is patient-centered health care that addresses the unique interactions among genetic, environmental and lifestyle factors influencing both health and complex chronic disease. Our innovative and visionary leadership model for personalized patient care, and commitment to quality drive our success. We commit time, energy, and resources to ensure that those we touch feel great value from their experience with us.
Programs: Provide education programs to licensed medical practitioners in applying the principles and processes of functional medicine to enhance patient outcomes. Courses were taught using a combination of lectures and small group case studies in classroom settings and on-line content. Continuing medical education (cme) was offered. Classroom conferences include an annual international conference on functional medicine, a five-day conference teaching the application of functional medicine in clinical practice (afmcp), five courses in advance studies of functional medicine and one course in functional medicine nutrition
provide resource materials for course attendees, members and the general public about the scientific basis and clinical applications of functional medicine approaches to patient assessment and treatment. Resource materials include textbooks, monographs, and recordings of current and past educational conferences and digital audio, video and written publications.
provide consulting services to medical clinics and medical schools in developing teaching curriculum.
