Mission: Our mission is to serve individuals and their families in our community who suffer from anxiety, depression and/or isolation which leads to self-medicating with substances. The foundation accomplishes this by connecting individuals with treatment options and services through a network of established partnerships.
Results: 5 families served: 1) mother/daughter dysfunctional relationship: provided resources for family therapy 2) grieving mother: connected with grief therapy and grief coping group 3) 31 year old man living on the streets: medical insurance, supplies while on the street (tent, food, clothing), entered rehab treatment 4) 25 year old man couch surfing/living on the streets in mental & emotional despair: reconnected him with family, as well as provide direct contact with affordable housing, and immediate consultation with a psychiatrist for assessment. IFLA will pay therapy sessions as per 3 party agreement. 5) concerned community member connection: we provided our resource partner catalog for an anonymous friend she was seeking to offer information. Suicide concerns and abuse hotline information.

This wraparound approach is vital to address the complex needs of individuals suffering from addiction, often exacerbated by mental health and social issues. Our vision is a safe and healthy community, free from the tragedy of addiction.
