Mission: The Growing Leaders Initiative's mission is to turn everyday students into growing leaders who will transform society. We envision 35 million young leaders who solve problems and serve people in their communities. We achieve this through creating learning environments with partners that contagiously affect students to think and act like life-giving leaders. From these environments, we see young leaders emerging worldwide using their influence to transform society.
Results: Since 2013, TGLI has encouraged and equipped more than 60,000 students to take on real-life leadership opportunities and challenges in the classroom, in their careers, and in their communities.
Target demographics: provides grants to underfunded schools, youth non-profits and faith-based ministries working with at-risk students living in underserved areas domestically and in developing nations.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 20,656 students
Geographic areas served: The Growing Leaders Initiative based out of Norcross, Georgia provides leadership tools throughout the U.S. and around the world.
Programs: The Habitudes® system uses powerful pictures to teach leadership truth and character principles where students remember the content and are inspired and equipped to build their character and use their influence to lead others well.
