Mission: Greater beloit economic development corporation (gbedc) is to act as the primary organization coordinating, facilitating and implementing economic development activities in the greater beloit area. Gbedc was organized to relieve poverty, eliminate prejudice, lessen neighborhood tensions and combat community deterioraton in the greater beloit area by fostering retention, recruitment, development, and the expansion of greater beloit area businesses through a program of financial assistance, education and other aid designed to improve economic conditions and economic opportunities within the greater beloit region.
