Mission: The agency's mission is to offer support and provide services to assist individuals and families transition from crisis to self-sufficiency.
Programs: Transitional housing: to provide transitional shelter, education & job skill opportunities to women & children in need through a three phase system. The agency served 71 women & children (30 families) this past fiscal year. Affordable housing: to provide affordable permenant housing to families earning 60% of the area's median income. The agency serviced 21 individuals and 8 families this past fiscal year.
direct services: to provide emergency assistance in the form of medical services, fuel, transportation, utilities, rent and security deposits to clients in need. Also provided food, gifts and clothing to families in need during the holiday season. Financial literacy program providing education concerning personal finances through a series of workshops over a 5 week period. The agency assisted 2,138 individuals including 775 families through various assistance programs. Rapid rehousing and housing stabilization services to help transition homeless families secure and maintain housing. In fiscal year 2017 8 families received housing supports and 7 were able to maintain the housing after the assistance ended.
