Mission: The friendship circle is a unique organization with a refreshing approach to helping families of children with special needs.
Programs: Walk4friends is an annual vehicle for volunteers, families and friends of friendship circle to show their appreciation and support through an exciting fundraising opportunity. This fun-filled event is attended by a broad cross-section of people who come together to demonstrate their solidarity and support. Over 1,300 men, woman and children came out for walk4friendship 2013 to help raise money and community awareness for the vital programs of the friendship circle.
mommy and me gives toddlers with special needs the opportunity to meet new friends in a safe and comfortable environment. The program is based on music and gymnastics. Moms will have the opportunity to meet other moms giving them a solid support system.
end of summer camp - when summer vacation rolls around, the friendship circle gets excited! That means it's time for the greatest week of the year - pedal to the metal, action-packed, day camp full of fun and educational trips around monmouth county. It's a week where children and volunteers build great friendships that they will remember for a lifetime.
miscellaneous programs including friends at home, sunday circle, teen scene, youung adult division, sunday social, mini chefs, winter camp and swim & sports. The purpose of these programs is to provide opportunities for youngsters of various age groups to experience cultural, social and sporting events and to work with children who have special needs.
