Results: •100% of parents report increased involvement in their child’s education. •91% of children ages 0-2 and 95% of 2-4 year olds demonstrate improvement in at least three developmental areas. •50% of adults in our ESL class successfully complete a level on their ESL exam. •100% of pregnant women and children are linked to medical care providers. •46% of TFP clients participate in parenting class. •TFP serves over 2,000 hot lunches to parents and children annually. •25% of regularly attending TFP clients participate in the Domestic Violence Support Group. •35% of women from across the three program areas receive case management support. •Annually, 30 women receive court advocacy assistance in obtaining civil protection orders, child support, or child custody.
Programs: There are three program areas; Family Literacy, Family Stability, and Family Wellness. The Family Literacy program addresses the educational needs of both parents and children; the Family Wellness program provides parents with the tools and resources to create a healthy home environment; and the Family Stability program provides emotional support, assistance and material resources when a family is most in need. We continue to respond to the critical need our participants face for services that can secure them a place in the economy and enrich their lives.
